Mobileye, Zeekr aim for L4 autonomous driving car in China by 2024

On January 4th, Intel Corp’s autonomous unit, Mobileye announced that they would work with Zeekr, backed by Geely Holding, to launch an all-electric L4 autonomous driving car in China by 2024.

The autonomous driving car will employ Mobileye Drive technology and SEA platform from Geely. Powered by 6 "EyeQ 5" chips of Mobileye, it can deal with the true redundancy sensor, driving strategies based on RSS, and the new open collaboration model on Road Experience Management mapping technology.

To truly achieve autonomous driving, steer-by-wire technology, as the executive layer, shares the same importance with perception and decision layer.
